Georgy Chesnokov
Thirty years inside the industry — I’ve worked in Swiss wealth management, I’ve owned a bank, I’ve been a partner in a hedge fund — and today I invest my own money from Monaco.
I spent three decades on the side of the table that charges the fees. I know how private banks and wealth managers price their services, why portfolios get built the way they do, and what professionals do with their own money that they rarely tell clients. Most of it isn’t complicated. It just isn’t advertised. This channel is where I say it out loud, plainly, with real numbers.
I decide my levels before I need them. Where I’d add, where I’d sell, written down in advance, so the market’s mood doesn’t make the decision for me.
I add into weakness and trim into strength. It’s boring, it’s unglamorous, and it works better than predicting.
Structure first, stock picks second. What you pay, where your money sits and how it’s taxed matter more over twenty years than any single stock.
I show my trades. With dates and prices, the wins and the mistakes. If I change my mind, I tell you after I’ve acted, never before.
I’ve lived in five countries, and Monaco has been home for fifteen years. Weekends start with a long uphill walk above the city, toward La Turbie or Èze, and I swim in the sea all year round, winter included. I train with kettlebells, a barbell and boxing, and I feel physically better now than I did fifteen years ago.
